What It Means
When you see No Custom Domain next to a workspace name in the Feedspace sidebar switcher, it means that workspace has not been configured with a custom domain. All review forms, wall of love pages, and widgets in that workspace use the default Feedspace URL format, such as feedspace.io/your-workspace-slug.
Workspaces that have a custom domain set up show that domain instead, for example love.feedspace.io or your own branded URL like reviews.yourcompany.com.
Does It Affect How the Workspace Works?
No. The No Custom Domain label is informational only. Your workspace functions exactly the same way with or without a custom domain. You can still collect reviews, manage customers, share wall of love pages, and use all features normally.
The only difference is the URL your reviewers and visitors see. With no custom domain, they see a feedspace.io address. With a custom domain, they see your own branded address.
How to Set Up a Custom Domain
- Switch to the workspace you want to add a domain to.
- In the left sidebar, click Settings.
- Click the Custom Domain tab.
- Follow the three-step setup: Add your subdomain, verify ownership by adding a CNAME record to your DNS, and wait for Feedspace to activate SSL.
Custom domain setup is available on paid plans. Once the domain is active, the workspace switcher will show your custom domain instead of the No Custom Domain badge.
Common Questions
Can each workspace have a different custom domain?
Yes. Each workspace can have its own custom domain configured independently. One workspace can use reviews.brand-a.com and another can use testimonials.brand-b.com.
Why does the workspace switcher show a domain for some workspaces and not others?
Workspaces that have completed the custom domain setup show their domain in the switcher. Workspaces that are still using the default Feedspace URL show No Custom Domain to make it easy to see at a glance which workspaces have custom branding active.
