When Feedspace imports a review from a public platform such as Google, Trustpilot, or Instagram, it saves the original text and star rating exactly as the reviewer published them. Those two fields are then locked and cannot be edited inside Feedspace.
The reason is straightforward: the words belong to the original reviewer. Changing them, even slightly, would misrepresent what that person actually said about your business. Keeping the content intact ensures that every testimonial you display is an honest, accurate reflection of genuine customer feedback, which is the foundation of trust with your audience.
While the review content itself stays as published, you have full control over the reviewer’s profile details. These metadata fields can be updated at any time inside Feedspace:
