Reason 1: Reviewer Email Notifications Are Not Enabled

Feedspace does not send a confirmation email to reviewers unless the feature is explicitly turned on for that form. If you have never enabled it, no email will be sent regardless of what the reviewer entered.

To enable reviewer email notifications, open your Feedspace dashboard, navigate to your form’s settings, and look for the Email Notifications section. Toggle on the option to send a confirmation email to the reviewer after submission. Once saved, every new submission will trigger a confirmation email to the address provided.

Reason 2: The Email Landed in the Spam or Promotions Folder

Automated confirmation emails are sometimes filtered by email providers into the spam, junk, or promotions folder before the reviewer ever sees them. Ask your reviewer to check those folders and look for an email from Feedspace. If they find it there, marking it as “Not Spam” or moving it to their inbox will help ensure future emails arrive correctly.

Reason 3: The Reviewer Entered an Incorrect Email Address

A confirmation email can only be delivered to the address that was entered on the form. If the reviewer made a typo, the email is sent to a non-existent or wrong address. In your Feedspace dashboard, open the submission record and check the email address that was captured. If it is incorrect, you can reach out to the reviewer directly and, if needed, update the record or ask them to resubmit using the correct address.

Reason 4: The Email Field Was Not Required on the Form

If the email field on your form is optional, a reviewer can complete and submit the form without entering any email address at all. With no address collected, there is nowhere to send the confirmation. To prevent this going forward, open your form editor, locate the email field, and mark it as Required. Reviewers will then be prompted to provide their email before they can submit.

The Thank You Page Always Confirms the Submission

Regardless of whether a confirmation email is sent or received, every reviewer sees the Thank You Page immediately after they submit their testimonial. This in-browser confirmation appears right away and does not depend on email delivery, spam filters, or the address entered. It is always a reliable signal that the submission was received successfully.
