Why Does My Feedspace Review Form Fail to Load or Submit?

Last updated on June 22, 2026

Overview

A Feedspace review form is the public page where your customers write, record, or upload their testimonial. When a reviewer opens your form link and the page does not load, or they fill it in but the submit button does nothing, the review never reaches your dashboard. Most of the time the cause is on the reviewer’s side, a browser extension, a weak connection, or a missing required field, and a couple of quick checks clear it up.

A common example: you send your form link to a happy customer, they tell you the page is blank or they cannot finish, and you want to give them something simple to try before you start digging into settings. The checks below are split into what the reviewer can try and what you can confirm from your own dashboard.

What the reviewer can try

  • Refresh the page once. A single failed load is often fixed by reloading the form.
  • Open the form link in a private or incognito browser window, or try a different browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. This rules out a cached page or a browser setting.
  • Disable form-filling, password manager, and ad-blocking extensions for the form page. These tools sometimes interfere with the fields or the submit button.
  • Check the internet connection. A slow or dropped connection can stop the form from loading or prevent a review, especially a video or audio one, from uploading.
  • Fill in every required field before submitting. If a required field is left empty, the form will not submit until it is completed.
  • For a video or audio review, allow camera and microphone permission when the browser asks. Without permission, the recorder cannot start and the review cannot be submitted.

What you can check as the form owner

If more than one reviewer reports the same problem, confirm the form itself is live and reachable:

  1. Log in to your Feedspace dashboard and click Forms in the left sidebar.
  2. Find your form card and check the toggle switch. Make sure it shows Form Active rather than Form Paused. A paused form will not accept submissions until you switch it back on.
  3. Open the form’s public URL yourself by clicking the form name on the card, then complete a test submission to confirm the form loads and accepts a review end to end.
  4. If the link you shared was copied a while ago, re-copy the current link using the copy link icon on the form card and resend the fresh link to your customer.

If the form fails for everyone even after these checks, email support@feedspace.io with the form URL and a short note about what the reviewer sees, and the team will look into it.

What’s next

Once the form loads and submits cleanly, send the link back to your customer so they can finish their review. If submissions still are not coming through, see why your review form is not receiving any submissions for the owner-side checks on sharing and form status.

Common questions

My reviewer sees a blank page when they open the form. What should they try first?

Ask them to refresh the page once, then open the same link in a private or incognito window. That clears a stale cached version, which is the most common cause of a blank form page.

The reviewer filled everything in but the submit button does nothing. Why?

Usually a required field is still empty or a browser extension is blocking the action. Ask them to check that every required field is filled, then disable form-filling and ad-blocking extensions and try again.

Does the reviewer need to install anything to submit a video or audio review?

No. The recorder runs in the browser. The reviewer only needs to allow camera and microphone permission when the browser prompts for it, and have a stable internet connection so the recording can upload.

It worked for one reviewer but not another. Is the form broken?

Most likely not. When one reviewer succeeds and another does not, the difference is usually their browser, an extension, or their connection. Confirm the form is set to Form Active, run your own test submission, and have the affected reviewer try a different browser.
