Why is My Review Form Not Receiving Any Submissions?

Last updated on June 12, 2026

Overview

Seeing zero submissions on your review form can feel discouraging, but the cause is almost always something quick and easy to resolve. This article covers the four most common reasons a Feedspace review form receives no submissions and gives you a clear fix for each one. Work through the checks below and your form will be collecting reviews in no time.

Common Reasons and How to Fix Each One

Reason 1: The Form Link Has Not Been Shared Yet

The most straightforward explanation is that the form link has not yet been sent to your customers. A form that has never been shared will always show zero submissions, no matter how well it is set up.

Fix: Open the form in your Feedspace dashboard, go to the Share tab, and copy the form link. Send it to your customers via email, SMS, or any channel you use to reach them. You can also embed the form on your website or add the link to your post-purchase messaging.

Reason 2: The Form Is Paused

Feedspace lets you pause a form at any time. While a form is paused, visitors who open the link will not be able to submit a response, and no new submissions will appear in your dashboard.

Fix: Go to your Feedspace dashboard and locate the form. Check its status indicator. If it shows as Paused, click the toggle or the Resume option to make the form active again. Once resumed, the form immediately starts accepting new submissions.

Reason 3: Visitors Are Reaching the Form but Not Completing It

If the form has recorded views but no submissions, customers are finding the form but leaving before they finish. A low views-to-submissions ratio is a sign that the form may feel too long, ask for too much information, or not load quickly on mobile devices.

Fix: Open the Stats or Analytics section for the form in your dashboard and compare the number of views against submissions. If the gap is large, consider simplifying the form: reduce the number of required fields, shorten any text prompts, and make sure the form is easy to complete on a smartphone. Even small improvements to the form experience can lead to a noticeable lift in completions.

Reason 4: The Shared Link Was Incorrect or Has Expired

If you shared the form link some time ago, it is worth confirming that the link is still valid and was copied correctly. An incorrect link, a broken URL in an email template, or a link that was regenerated after the original share can all result in customers reaching an error page instead of your form.

Fix: Return to the Share tab of your form in the Feedspace dashboard and re-copy the current link directly from there. Replace any old links in your emails, automations, or website with the fresh copy. Test the link yourself in a private browser window to confirm it opens the form correctly before resending it to customers.

What You Can Do Next

  • Confirm your form status in the Feedspace dashboard and resume it if it is currently paused.
  • Re-copy the form link from the Share tab and send the updated link to your customers.
  • Review the form stats to compare views against submissions and simplify the form if the conversion rate is low.
  • Test your form link in a private browser window to make sure it opens correctly before distributing it further.
