How to Self Import a Video Review in Feedspace

Overview

The Self Import Video Review feature in Feedspace allows you to manually add video reviews or testimonials. This is especially useful when:

• Customers share feedback over recorded video.
• You collect testimonials outside integrated platforms.
• You want to showcase authentic customer stories with video proof.

By importing video reviews, you can display them on your Wall of Love and through widgets, helping build stronger credibility and trust.

Step 1: Navigate to import

1. Log in to your Feedspace Account.
2. From the left-hand menu, go to Import.
3. On the Manual Import tab, stay on the Review Import subtab, which is active by default.

Step 2: Fill in the reviewer details

The Review Import form opens with all fields empty and the star rating set to 5 by default. Every field is optional except the rating, so add as much detail as you have:

• Click the avatar circle or Upload Photo to add a Reviewer Photo.
• Enter the reviewer’s Name, Reviewer Email, Job Role, and Company.
• Pick a Date for the review.
• Add a Company URL and Company Logo if you have them.
• Type the review in the Review Content rich text editor.

Step 3: Upload the video and set the rating

1. In the Upload Media drop zone, drag in your video file or click to browse and select it. The drop zone accepts both images and video, up to 5 files at 50MB each.
2. Set the rating using the interactive Star Rating widget. It supports half-stars and defaults to 5 stars.
3. Optionally add a Review Website URL and Review Website Logo to credit the source.

Step 4: Import the review

1. Click the Import Review button at the bottom of the form.
2. The video uploads, then the review is submitted.
3. A success view appears confirming your review was imported, with Create Wall of Love and Import More Reviews buttons.

What’s next

Click Create Wall of Love to add the video review to a page you can share or embed, or click Import More Reviews to add another review without leaving the form. Your imported video review is now stored in Feedspace and ready to display through your Wall of Love and widgets.

Common questions

What video file size and count can I upload at once?

The Upload Media drop zone accepts up to 5 files at a maximum of 50MB each, and it handles both images and video in the same import.

Do I have to fill in every field to import a video review?

No. Every field on the Review Import form is optional except the star rating, which already defaults to 5 stars. You can import a video review with just the video and a rating, then add reviewer details later.

Where does the video review appear after I import it?

Once imported, the video review is saved in Feedspace and can be shown on your Wall of Love and through your widgets. Use the Create Wall of Love button on the success view to start displaying it right away.

How do I replace an imported video?

There is no in-place swap for the video file on an imported review. To replace it, delete the existing review and import the corrected video as a new one. See how to delete a review in Feedspace, then run the import steps above again with your updated video file.
