How to Self Import a Text Review in Feedspace

Overview

The Self Import Text Review feature in Feedspace lets you manually add reviews from customers into your workspace. This is useful when:

• You receive reviews via email, chat, or offline.
• You want to add testimonials collected outside integrated platforms.
• You want full control over review details (photo, job title, rating, etc.).

This ensures all your customer feedback is visible in one place and can be showcased in widgets or on your Wall of Love.

This manual method adds one review at a time, which is ideal for a single review you received somewhere Feedspace cannot auto-import, such as a WhatsApp message or a private email. To add many reviews at once from a spreadsheet, use bulk import instead.

Step 1: Navigate to import

1. Log in to your Feedspace Account.
2. From the left-hand menu, click Import.
3. On the Manual Import tab, open the Review Import subtab.

Step 2: Fill in the review details

Complete the form with the details of the review you are adding. Every field is optional except the star rating, which defaults to 5 stars.

• Reviewer Photo: upload a photo of the reviewer.
• Name: the reviewer’s name.
• Reviewer Email: the reviewer’s email address.
• Job Role and Company: the reviewer’s title and organisation.
• Date: the date the review was given.
• Company URL and Company Logo: the reviewer’s company website and logo.
• Star Rating: click the stars to set the rating, with half-star support.
• Review Content: type or paste the review text in the editor.
• Upload Media: attach up to 5 image or video files, up to 50MB each.
• Review Website URL and Review Website Logo: the source where the review was posted.

Step 3: Import the review

1. Click Import Review at the bottom of the form.
2. A success screen confirms the review was imported.
3. Click Create Wall of Love to showcase the review, or Import More Reviews to add another.

Once your review is in, display it by building a Wall of Love or embedding a widget on your website.

Common questions

Can I import several reviews at once instead of one at a time?

Yes. The Review Import form adds one review per submission. To add many reviews together from a spreadsheet, use the Bulk Import subtab, which accepts a CSV or Excel file.
