How Do I Reply to a Review in Feedspace?

Overview

In Feedspace, you can send a private, personalised reply directly to a reviewer by email. Unlike the quick Send Thanks action, the Reply option lets you type a fully custom message tailored to that specific reviewer. The reply is delivered to the email address the reviewer submitted with their review and is never publicly visible on the review itself.

Steps

Step 1: Open Feedbox

Open Feedbox from the left sidebar under Manage. All your collected and imported reviews are listed here.

Step 2: Find the Review You Want to Reply To

Scroll through the list or use the Search bar to locate the review. You can search by reviewer name or a keyword from the review text.

Step 3: Open the Review Details

Click on the review card to open its full detail view, or click the three-dot menu on the right side of the review card and select View Details.

Step 4: Click Reply or Send Thanks

Inside the review detail panel, click the Reply button (sometimes labelled Send Thanks depending on your view). This opens the reply composer panel.

Step 5: Type Your Message

In the reply panel, the reviewer’s email address is pre-filled automatically if they provided one when submitting the review. Type your custom message in the message field.

You can personalise your message to reference specific details from the review, making your reply feel genuine rather than generic.

Step 6: Send Your Reply

Once you are happy with your message, click Send. Feedspace delivers your reply directly to the reviewer’s email address. You will see a confirmation once the message has been sent.

How Reply Differs from Send Thanks

Both Reply and Send Thanks let you reach out to a reviewer by email. Here is the key difference:

  • Send Thanks: A quick pre-composed thank-you message. You can optionally attach a personalised video but the base message follows a standard template.
  • Reply: A fully custom message you write from scratch. Use this when you want to address something specific in the review or provide a more detailed, personal response.

Things to Know

  • Replies are sent by email only. They are not posted publicly on the review or visible to anyone other than the reviewer.
  • If the reviewer did not provide an email address when submitting their review, the reply option will not have a recipient email pre-filled. You will need to enter a valid email address manually to send your message.
  • Replies sent from Feedbox come from your workspace’s configured sending address.
