Feedspace’s Auto-Tag feature keeps your testimonial library organised automatically. If labels are not showing up on new reviews, one of the short checks below will get everything running correctly.
What You Can Do

Check 1: Labels Were Not Saved on the Form
Selecting labels in the dropdown is not enough. You must also click Save in the form editor for the label selection to take effect.
- Open the form in the Feedspace form editor.
- Go to the Settings tab and scroll to Advance Customization.
- Click Manage Label and confirm your labels are still checked.
- If the labels are unchecked, re-select them and click Save.
Check 2: Reviews Were Collected Before Labels Were Configured
Auto-tagging only applies to reviews submitted after the labels are saved on the form. Reviews collected before you set up Auto-Tag will not be retroactively tagged.
Fix: Manually assign labels to older reviews. Go to the Testimonials section, open each review, and add the label from the review detail panel.
Check 3: Reviewer Submitted Through a Different Form
Labels are configured per form. If you have multiple forms and the reviewer used one without labels set up, no tags will be applied to that review.
Fix: Check which form the reviewer used (visible in the review detail view) and confirm that form has Auto-Tag labels configured.
Check 4: The Label Was Deleted After Setup
If a label was deleted from your workspace after being assigned to a form, it will need to be recreated. The form may still appear to have the label selected, but Feedspace recreates it instantly when you type its name in the dropdown.
Fix:
- Open the form in the form editor.
- Go to Settings and open the Manage Label dropdown.
- Create a new replacement label by typing its name and clicking Create “[name]” label.
- Select the new label and save the form.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I view the labels assigned to a specific review?
Go to Testimonials and open the review. The assigned labels appear as colored tags near the top of the review detail panel.
Can I apply labels to multiple past reviews at once?
Bulk label assignment depends on your Feedspace plan and the available bulk actions in the Testimonials section. Check the Testimonials view for a bulk select option.
