The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that moves across the page, keeping visitors engaged as fresh testimonials scroll into view. Because each card sits close to its neighbors in this tight, flowing layout, adding a shadow gives every card a sense of depth and separation, making individual reviews easier to read as they pass by.
The Show Review Card Shadow toggle in the Widget Color Customization section lets you switch this effect on or off with one click. Once enabled, three sub-options give you precise control: Shadow Style (Blurred or Solid), Shadow Size (Small, Medium, Large, or X-Large), and Shadow Color (a color picker). Together these controls let you match the shadow to your brand palette and the visual weight of your page, so the scrolling strip of reviews draws attention without clashing with your surrounding design.
Log in to your Feedspace account. In the left navigation menu, click Widgets to open the list of all widgets you have created.
Find your Horizontal Scroll widget in the list. Click the Edit button (or the widget name) to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for your widget, including colors, fonts, and card styling.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups together all color and visual effect controls for the widget’s review cards.
Find the Show Review Card Shadow toggle and switch it on. The toggle turns active and three additional controls appear below it: Shadow Style, Shadow Size, and Shadow Color.
Under Shadow Style, select one of the two options:
Under Shadow Size, choose how large the shadow extends around each review card. The available sizes are Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Smaller sizes add a subtle lift to each card, while larger sizes create a more dramatic depth effect that can draw stronger attention to the scrolling reviews.
Click the Shadow Color color picker and choose the color you want for the shadow. You can enter a hex code directly, use the color slider, or pick from the palette. Neutral dark tones work well for a natural shadow effect, while a brand color can give the widget a distinctive, on-brand look.
Click Save to apply your changes. Use the preview panel or visit the page where your Horizontal Scroll widget is embedded to see how the shadow looks as the review cards scroll continuously across the screen. Adjust the style, size, or color as needed until the effect matches your design.
