The Horizontal Scroll widget displays your review cards in a continuously looping ticker that moves across the page from one side to the other. Because the reviews scroll on their own without any visitor interaction, the speed at which they move directly affects how easy it is for visitors to read each card before it travels off screen.
The Scroll Speed option, found in the Marquee Settings section of the Design tab, gives you four preset speeds to choose from: Delayed, Slow, Medium, and Fast. Delayed adds a brief pause between loops so visitors have extra time to absorb each review. Slow and Medium provide a comfortable reading pace suitable for most pages. Fast creates a lively, high-energy ticker that works well when visual impact matters more than word-for-word reading. Choosing the right speed ensures your social proof is actually seen, not just scrolled past.
Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the main sidebar. You will see a list of all the widgets you have created.
Find the Horizontal Scroll widget you want to update and click the Edit button next to it. This opens the widget editor where you can adjust its content and design settings.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the panel. This tab contains all visual and layout options for your Horizontal Scroll widget, including the Marquee Settings section.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Marquee Settings section. This section contains controls specific to the scrolling behaviour of your Horizontal Scroll widget, including the Scroll Speed slider.
Click the Scroll Speed slider and drag it to your preferred setting. The four available options are:
Once you select a speed, the live preview in the editor updates immediately so you can see exactly how your widget will look on your page.
After choosing your preferred scroll speed, click Save to apply the changes. Your Horizontal Scroll widget will now scroll at the selected speed wherever it is embedded.
