The Floating Cards widget displays your customer reviews as animated cards that gently drift and float across the screen, creating an eye-catching, dynamic showcase of social proof. Each card drifts independently, drawing visitor attention as it moves, which means the visual style of every card directly shapes how your brand is perceived.
The Card Background Color option in the Widget Color Customization section sets the fill color applied to every floating review card. Because the cards are the central visual element of this widget, their background color has an outsized effect on readability and brand consistency. A background color that contrasts well with your text keeps each card legible as it floats, while a color that matches your site palette makes the widget feel like a native part of your design rather than an overlay.
On some widget configurations a Card on Hover Color picker also appears alongside the Card Background Color option. This lets you set a separate fill color that activates when a visitor hovers over a card, adding an interactive highlight effect to the floating animation.
Log in to your Feedspace account. From the main navigation, click Widgets to open your list of saved widgets.
Locate your Floating Cards widget in the list. Click the Edit button (or the pencil icon) next to it to open the widget editor.
Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab. This tab contains all visual customization options for the widget, including layout, typography, and color settings.
Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups all color pickers for the Floating Cards widget in one place.
Click the Card Background Color picker. A color palette and hex input field will appear. Choose your desired color by clicking a swatch, entering a hex code directly, or using the color spectrum. The preview updates in real time so you can see how the color looks on the floating cards before saving.
If your widget configuration shows a Card on Hover Color picker below the Card Background Color option, click it and select the color you want each card to display when a visitor hovers over it. This is optional. If the picker is not present for your widget, skip this step.
Once you are satisfied with your color selection, click Save to apply the updated card background color to your Floating Cards widget. The change takes effect immediately on any page where the widget is embedded.
