The Shorten Long Reviews toggle on an Avatar Slider widget in Feedspace cuts long reviews to a few lines on each slide and adds a read more link for the rest. The toggle’s own description sums it up: “Best to adjust more reviews in less space.”
A slide is only on screen for a few seconds when autoplay is on. Showing the first few lines of a long review gets its point across in that time, and anyone who wants the whole thing can open it.
From the Feedspace sidebar, click Widgets.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon on the widget’s card, choose Design, and scroll to Widget Content Customization.
Switch on Shorten Long Reviews, just below Show Review Ratings. Long reviews in the preview are cut down straight away.
Click Save & Next.
No. Only reviews longer than a few lines are cut down; shorter ones show in full as before.
