What Can a Feedspace Editor Do?

Last updated on June 15, 2026

Overview

In Feedspace, the Editor role is designed for content and marketing team members who handle day-to-day review collection and display. Editors have broad content management permissions but do not have access to administrative controls such as team management, workspace settings, or billing. This makes the Editor role a safe choice for team members who need to get work done without the risk of making workspace-level changes.

What an Editor Can Do

Review Forms

Editors can create, edit, and delete review forms. This includes configuring form fields, customising form appearance, and managing form settings to control how reviews are collected.

Review Management

Editors can manage and moderate all reviews in Feedbox. This includes viewing, approving, archiving, and deleting individual reviews, as well as replying to reviewers and marking reviews as favourites.

Importing Reviews

Editors can import reviews from external platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, and other supported sources. This lets content team members bring existing reviews into Feedspace without requiring Admin involvement.

Widgets, Wall of Love, and Creative Space

Editors can build and configure display assets, including review widgets, Wall of Love pages, and Creative Space designs. They can create new assets, edit existing ones, and adjust display settings to match branding needs.

Customer Management

Editors have full access to the Customers section of the workspace. They can add, edit, and remove customer records, and manage the contact list used for review collection outreach.

Automation Workflows

Editors can set up and edit automation workflows within Feedspace. This includes configuring integrations and review collection sequences to automate how reviews are gathered and processed.

What an Editor Cannot Do

Editors do not have access to administrative functions. The following actions are restricted to workspace Admins only:

  • Team management: Editors cannot invite new team members, remove existing members, or change any team member’s role.
  • Workspace settings: Editors cannot access or modify workspace-level settings, including branding, custom domain configuration, and SEO settings.
  • Billing and plan details: Editors cannot view or change the workspace subscription, billing information, or plan details.
  • Workspace deletion: Editors cannot delete the workspace.

When to Use the Editor Role

Assign the Editor role to content managers, marketing team members, or anyone responsible for collecting and showcasing reviews. Editors can handle all operational tasks related to review collection and display while Admin-only controls remain protected. If a team member only needs read-only access, consider using the Viewer role instead.
