What Can a Feedspace Viewer Do?

Last updated on June 15, 2026

Overview

In Feedspace, a Viewer has read-only access to the workspace. Viewers can browse and share content, but they cannot create, edit, or delete anything. This role is ideal for clients, stakeholders, or executives who need visibility into review performance without the ability to make changes.

What a Viewer Can Do

  • View all review forms: Viewers can open and browse every review form in the workspace, including form settings and response counts.
  • View widgets and wall of love pages: Viewers can see all widgets and wall of love pages that have been created in the workspace.
  • View all reviews: Viewers can read every review submitted to the workspace, including the full review content and metadata.
  • Copy share links and embed codes: Viewers can copy public share links and embed codes for forms, widgets, and wall of love pages to pass on to others.
  • View the customer list: Viewers can browse the workspace customer list and see customer details.
  • View review statistics: Viewers can see performance statistics and summary data for reviews collected across the workspace.

What a Viewer Cannot Do

  • Create, edit, or delete content: Viewers cannot create or modify review forms, widgets, wall of love pages, or any other workspace content.
  • Moderate or import reviews: Viewers cannot approve, reject, archive, or delete reviews, and cannot import reviews from external sources.
  • Change workspace settings: Viewers have no access to workspace settings, branding, automation, or custom domain configuration.
  • Invite or manage team members: Viewers cannot invite new members, change roles, or remove existing team members.
  • Access billing: Viewers cannot view or manage subscription or billing information.

When to Use the Viewer Role

Assign the Viewer role to anyone who needs to monitor review performance but should not have editing access. Common use cases include:

  • Clients: Give clients a direct view of their review results and statistics without risking accidental changes to forms or settings.
  • Stakeholders: Let investors or business partners review performance data and read customer feedback at any time.
  • Executives: Allow leadership to check review volumes and statistics without involving them in day-to-day content management.

How the Viewer Role Compares to Other Roles

Feedspace has three team member roles, each with a different level of access:

  • Admin: Full access to all workspace features, including settings, billing, and team management.
  • Editor: Can create, edit, and delete forms, widgets, and reviews, but cannot manage team members or access billing.
  • Viewer: Read-only access. Can view and share content but cannot make any changes.

To change a team member’s role, go to Settings in the left sidebar, open the Team Members tab, and update the role from the dropdown next to the member’s name. Only Admins can change team member roles.
