How to Automate Telegram Notifications with Zapier Integration

Overview

Feedspace can be connected with Telegram via Zapier to send instant notifications whenever new testimonials are received. This helps teams stay updated in real time, right inside their Telegram groups or channels.

Automation through Zapier is available on Professional and Business plans in Feedspace, and requires an API key for connection.

Step 1: Connect Feedspace to Zapier

1. Log in to your Feedspace dashboard.
2. Go to Automation in the left sidebar, then click the Automation tab and copy your Automation Secret Key.
3. Log in to your Zapier account and create a new Zap.
4. Select Feedspace as the trigger app.
5. Choose New Testimonial as the trigger event.
6. When prompted to connect your Feedspace account, enter your Automation Secret Key.
7. Test the connection to confirm Zapier can fetch testimonials.

Step 2: Connect Telegram

1. Add a new Action Step and choose Telegram Bot as the app.
2. Select Send Message as the action event.
3. Click Connect Account.
4. Enter your Telegram Bot Token (generated using BotFather in Telegram). If you don’t have a bot yet, create one by chatting with BotFather in Telegram to get your token.
5. Click Yes, Continue to Telegram to authorize Zapier.

Step 3: Configure Telegram message

1. Select the chat, group, or channel where you want to send messages.
2. Customize your message template, for example: “A new testimonial was received in Feedspace! Check it out here: {{Testimonial URL}}”
3. Run a test to confirm the message is delivered correctly in Telegram.

Step 4: Turn on your Zap

Once testing is successful, turn on the Zap. Every new testimonial in Feedspace will trigger an automated message in your chosen Telegram chat or group.

• Set up a second Zap to also send WhatsApp notifications for the same testimonials.
• Add a Filter by Zapier step before the Telegram action to send only video testimonials.
• Back up your video testimonials to Google Drive using a separate Zap.

Where do I find my Feedspace API key for Zapier?
