How Do I Activate My Feedspace Form Automation?

Last updated on June 11, 2026

Every Feedspace form automation starts in Draft mode, which means no emails are sent until you explicitly activate it. Activating moves the automation to Active and begins enrolling customers according to the sequence you have configured. Before activating, Feedspace shows you a preview of how many customers will be enrolled and when the first email will go out.

What You Can Do

  • Start sending your review request sequence to all enrolled customers with one click
  • Review the eligible recipient count before going live to catch any setup issues
  • See the exact date and time your first email will be sent before confirming
  • Pause the automation at any time without losing your configuration or customer list

1. Complete Your Automation Setup

Before activating, make sure you have:

  • Added at least one customer to the recipient list
  • Configured at least one email with a non-empty subject line
  • Saved the draft at least once

2. Click Activate

At the top of the Automation tab, click the Activate button. An enrollment preview modal opens.

3. Review the Enrollment Summary

The modal shows:

  • Eligible customers: The number of contacts who will be enrolled.
  • Skipped contacts: Customers excluded due to prior reviews, unsubscribes, tag filters, or bounces.
  • First send date and time: When Email 1 will go out based on your delay and send time settings.

4. Confirm Activation

Click Confirm and Activate. The status pill at the top of the tab changes from Draft to Active. Your sequence is now live and will send emails automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which plan is required to activate an automation?

Activating an automation requires a Professional or Business plan. You can build and save a draft on any plan, but the Activate button is locked until you upgrade.

What happens to customers added after activation?

Customers added after the automation goes live are enrolled immediately and begin receiving emails from Email 1 according to its configured delay.

Can I edit the sequence while it is active?

Yes. Pause the automation first, make your changes, save the draft, then reactivate. Changes apply to customers who have not yet received the emails you modified.
