The Automation tab turns your review form into a self-running testimonial collection engine. Instead of manually following up with customers, you build a timed email sequence once and Feedspace handles every send automatically. Add your customer list, write your emails, and activate — the rest runs without you.

The Three Sections
1. Who Should We Email?
This section defines your recipient list. Add customers one by one, upload a CSV, or use the API. You can filter by tag so only specific segments receive the sequence, and toggle whether customers who already submitted a review should be included or skipped.
2. Email Sequences
Build a series of timed emails that go out automatically after a customer is added to your list. Each email has its own send delay (in days), subject line, body with personalisation variables, CTA button, send time, and timezone. Free plans support one email per sequence. Professional plans support up to three.
3. Who Is It From?
By default, emails are sent from Feedspace’s shared sender. On a Professional plan you can connect your own SMTP server or Amazon SES account so emails arrive from your own domain. A reply-to address can be set on any plan.
Draft and Active States
Every automation starts in Draft mode so you can configure it safely before it goes live. When you are ready, click Activate to move it to Active. You can Pause an active automation at any time without losing your setup, and resume it later.
Plan Requirements
Activating an automation requires a Professional or Business plan. Building and saving a draft is available on all plans. The number of emails per sequence depends on your plan (Free: 1, Professional: 3).

The Automation tab is Feedspace’s built-in email follow-up tool. It is designed specifically for sending review request sequences to your customer list. Zapier and Pabbly Connect connect Feedspace to external apps and trigger workflows when a new testimonial is received.
Can I run more than one automation per form?
Each form supports one automation. To run different sequences for different audiences, create a separate form for each segment and set up an automation on each one.
