How Do I Add Customers Manually to My Feedspace Form Automation?

Adding customers manually lets you enroll individual contacts into your Feedspace form automation one at a time. It is the right choice for targeted follow-ups after a sales call, a product demo, or any interaction where you know exactly who you want to ask for a review. No file preparation is needed — just a name and an email address.

What You Can Do

  • Add a specific customer immediately after a purchase or interaction
  • Test your automation by adding your own email address as a contact
  • Combine manual entries with CSV imports and webhook enrollments on the same form
  • Enroll contacts without preparing or uploading any files

1. Open the Add Customers Panel

  • Log in to Feedspace and go to Forms in the left sidebar.
  • Open the form and click the Automation tab.
  • In the Who should we email? section, click Add customers.
  • Select the Add manually tab.

2. Enter the Customer’s Details

Fill in the two required fields:

  • Name: The customer’s full name or first name. This value is used for the {{name}} variable in your email body and subject line.
  • Email: The customer’s email address. Must be a valid format.

3. Click Add

Click Add to add the customer to your contacts list. The customer appears in the list immediately. Repeat for each additional contact you want to add.

4. Save the Draft

Click Save Draft on the Automation tab to preserve your customer list. Contacts will not receive any emails until you activate the automation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add a customer that already exists in my list?

Feedspace deduplicates by email address. If the email is already in your contacts list, the entry is not duplicated and the existing contact is not re-enrolled.

Will the customer receive emails immediately after I add them?

No. Customers are enrolled in the sequence only after you activate the automation. If the automation is already active when you add a customer, they are enrolled immediately and will receive Email 1 after its configured delay.
