After a reviewer submits their testimonial, you can show them buttons encouraging them to also post their feedback on external review platforms like Google, Trustpilot, Capterra, or anywhere else that accepts direct review links. Each button has a custom label and URL. This turns a single form submission into an opportunity to collect reviews across multiple platforms at once.
What You Can Do
- Add buttons to your thank you page linking to any external review platform
- Customise the button label for each platform (e.g., “Review us on Google”)
- Enable or disable each platform button independently without deleting it
- Add as many platforms as you need, each with its own button and URL
1. Open the Thank You Tab
- Log in to Feedspace and go to Forms in the left sidebar.
- Open the form and click the Thank You tab in the form editor.
- Make sure Page Type is set to Show Message. The platforms section is not available when Redirect to URL is selected.
2. Enable Collect Reviews on Other Platforms
Scroll to the Collect Reviews on Other Platforms section and toggle it on. A list of platform entries appears. Each entry has a toggle, a button label field, and a URL field.
3. Configure Each Platform
For each platform you want to show:
- Toggle the platform row on.
- Enter the button label: the text shown on the button (e.g., “Review us on Google”).
- Enter the URL: the direct link to your profile or review submission page on that platform. Both fields are required when the platform is enabled.
4. Add More Platforms
Click Add platform to add another entry. Repeat for each platform you want to include. You can add as many platforms as needed.
5. Save Your Changes
Click Save & Next. The buttons appear on the thank you page immediately after the main message for all new submissions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from Smart Redirection?
Smart Redirection (in the Capture Review tab) automatically redirects users to an external platform based on their star rating, for example, sending high-rated reviewers to Google. The Collect Reviews on Other Platforms feature shows optional buttons on the thank you page after submission, letting the reviewer choose whether to also post on another platform. Smart Redirection is automatic; Collect Reviews is voluntary.
How is this different from Word of Mouth?
Word of Mouth lets reviewers share a link to their submitted review on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Collect Reviews on Other Platforms shows buttons linking directly to external review sites where the reviewer can submit a new, separate review. They serve different purposes and can both be enabled at the same time.
Will the buttons always show, even for negative reviews?
Unlike Word of Mouth, which Feedspace hides automatically for negative reviews, the Collect Reviews on Other Platforms buttons always appear when the feature is enabled. Consider whether you want to show external review links to reviewers who gave a low rating, as they may post that negative review on external platforms too.
