Feedspace checks a few requirements when you upload introduction media to keep your form fast and responsive for reviewers. If the upload does not complete, one of the quick fixes below will get you sorted.
What You Can Do
- Ensure your welcome video or branded image appears correctly for every reviewer
- Replace introduction media for new campaigns without rebuilding the entire form
- Keep forms fast and responsive by using correctly sized media files
- Present a polished, professional welcome to every reviewer who opens your form
Uploading a File That Is Not an Image, GIF, or Video
Feedspace shows this message when the selected file is not a supported media type. Introduction media supports images (JPG, PNG, WEBP), GIF files, and video files (MP4, MOV).
Fix: Convert your file to a supported format before uploading. For documents or PDFs, take a screenshot or export as an image first.
GIF File Is Larger Than 15 MB
To keep forms fast for reviewers, GIF files need to be under 15 MB. Large GIFs are common because the format stores every frame individually.
Fix: Use a tool such as ezgif.com to reduce your GIF’s file size. Alternatively, convert the animation to a short MP4 video, which achieves the same visual effect at a much smaller file size.
Introduction Video Is Longer Than 60 Seconds
Introduction videos need to be 60 seconds or shorter. This keeps the form experience quick and focused for reviewers.
Fix: Trim your video to under 60 seconds using any video editor (iMovie, CapCut, or VEED) before uploading.
Upload Did Not Complete Successfully
When Feedspace shows “Media upload failed. Please try again.”, the file format and size are valid but the upload was interrupted. A quick retry usually resolves this.
Steps to resolve:
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- If the message appears again, try a different browser.
- If the issue continues, try a smaller or differently encoded file.
The Upload Appears to Complete but the Media Is Not Showing
If the progress bar completes but no preview appears, your browser session may have expired during the upload.
Fix: Refresh the page, log back in if needed, and upload the file again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the 15 MB limit apply to images too?
Yes. Image files (JPG, PNG, WEBP) also have a 15 MB maximum. Standard web-quality images are well under this limit, but high-resolution photography exports may need to be resized first.
Can I replace the introduction media after the form is live?
Yes. Upload a new file at any time in the form editor and save. The new media replaces the old one immediately.
