The Floating Cards widget displays your reviews as animated cards that float and drift gently across the screen, giving visitors a lively, eye-catching stream of social proof. Each card shows a star rating alongside the reviewer’s name and testimonial text, so the stars are one of the first visual elements a visitor notices as the cards animate into view.

Feedspace gives you two dedicated color controls for those stars: Star Rating Color, which sets the fill color of the star icons, and Star Rating Border Color, which sets the outline or border color drawn around each star. Together these two options let you make the stars blend seamlessly with your brand palette or stand out as a deliberate accent against the card background. Matching these colors to your site’s design makes the floating animation feel intentional rather than generic, and reinforces brand consistency across every card that drifts across the screen.

How to Change the Star Rating Color for Your Floating Cards Widget

Step 1: Open the Widgets Section

Log in to your Feedspace account and navigate to the Widgets section from the main sidebar. You will see a list of all the widgets you have created across your workspace.

Step 2: Edit Your Floating Cards Widget

Locate the Floating Cards widget you want to update and click the Edit button (or click directly on the widget name) to open its settings.

Step 3: Go to the Design Tab

Inside the widget editor, click the Design tab at the top of the settings panel. This tab contains all visual customization options for your Floating Cards widget, including layout, colors, and typography controls.

Step 4: Find the Widget Color Customization Section

Scroll down within the Design tab until you reach the Widget Color Customization section. This section groups all color pickers for the widget’s visual elements, including the two star rating controls.
