Overview
When you import reviews from platforms like Google, Trustpilot, or Facebook, each review card shows a small platform icon indicating where the review came from. Feedspace has a toggle to control whether this platform icon appears. You might want to hide it if you are displaying mixed-source reviews and do not want the cards to look different based on their origin.
Feedspace Labels (the internal tags you apply to reviews in Feedbox for organising and filtering) are not shown on widget cards. They are for internal management only and do not appear to visitors. The only label-like element you can control on widget cards is the platform source icon.
How to hide the platform source icon
Step 1: Open the widget editor and go to the Design tab
Click Widgets in the left sidebar. On the widget card, click the Pencil (Edit) icon. The editor opens on the Select Review tab. Click the Design tab in the editor header. Scroll down to find the Show Social Platform Icon toggle.
Step 2: Toggle the Show Social Platform Icon toggle
Find the Show Social Platform Icon toggle. The description reads: “Turn off this option to hide social platform icon from your reviews.” Turn it off to hide the platform badge from all review cards in this widget. Turn it back on at any time to restore it.
Step 3: Save
Click Save and Next. The preview on the left updates to show the cards without the platform icon.
What’s next
If you also want to control which reviews appear in the widget by platform, use the filter in the Select Review tab. The Imported Reviews From filter lets you include or exclude reviews from specific sources, which is a more targeted approach than just hiding the icon.
Common questions
Does hiding the platform icon affect all my widgets?
No. The Show Social Platform Icon toggle is per-widget. Turning it off on one widget has no effect on your other widgets. You can have some widgets showing the icon and others hiding it.
Do Feedspace Labels appear on the widget for visitors?
No. Labels in Feedspace are internal organisation tags you apply to reviews in Feedbox. They are not visible on the embedded widget. Visitors never see them. Labels are only used for filtering which reviews appear in a widget (in the Select Review tab), not as a visible tag on the card.
